Dominic Silla, born in 1968, has been performing and studying music for over
thirty years. He earned a Bachelor of Music Degree in Composition at West Chester
University and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration at Widener
University. This combination of degrees has enabled him to build a highly regarded
piano teaching business as well as become a successful composer and performer.
Mr. Silla has studied with acclaimed composer Robert Maggio and world-renowned concert organist, Gordon Turk. He has also studied piano privately with Dolores Ciavola, former student of Eugene List, and composition with the late Dr. Earnest Hilbert, former student of Paul Hindemith. Mr. Silla is a respected composer, having written numerous works ranging from solo piano to orchestral scores. His recordings have been enthusiastically received and can be heard on the world's largest internet radio program, Whisperings. |
